turkey baster method?

has anyone tried this?

Also, the past couple months my period has been on a long cycle. it was 41 days apart last month. and this month it's day 33 and i still don't have my af. So i'm thinking it's probably going to stick with close to that 41 days. What i was wondering about this is would this long cycle effect when i ovulate? I'm trying the turkey baster method (not really a turkey baster, using a medical syringe) this cycle and the days i did it were yesterday and the 9th. My fiance is leaving for the military in 5 days and i'm hoping for a bfp this month before he goes.
So what do you all think? do you think those days were too late in the cycle? Or is this method dumb? lol

Well.... is there a specific reason your using this method? I can say (since my best friend got prego and she has super long irregular cycles) that as long as you ovulate it's certainly possible to get pregnant.

Not sure about the method though? The best way I know of is to track your cycle using temps or ovulation predictions kits... personally, I like the OPKs... but I've been tracking my cycle for months and pretty much know when I Ov (but like them as assurance). Might be better to start with tracking your temps first- then maybe use Ov tests around the time you think you Ov to make sure... ??? Then for about 2-3 days before you Ov you just need to DTD Hope some of this helps.

Good luck and baby dust
