official ways to keep ourselves sane

I am starting this post in hopes that people can let us know how they stay sane through the TTC process.

This is what I have been doing so far:

Drowning my self in books that let my imagination go off into another world.
Not one TTC thought interupps me while I am reading and it feels like such a nice break.

Oh that's good! I'm currently enrolled in school - getting my Bachelor's Degree in Human Resoure Management. So, that really helps keep my mind busy.

I'm fed up too. You spend years (well I did anyway) trying not to get pg and then its a total shock when you decide you really do and it doesn't just happen. Sigh. AF rocked up yesterday and so I'm feeling more glum than is typical for me.

My family have always reproduced at an alarming rate. My 4 great grans had between 9 and 13 children each and my grandmas had 5 and 6 babies respectively. I have 28 1st cousins and my parents have nearly 100 cousins between them. I never thought getting pg would be any kind of challenge so its a wake up call for me that I'm not quite used to yet. I'm still new to this and its only my 2nd proper month TTC so I have no real reason to get down yet but feeling a bit blue about in today as was dreaming of babies all last night and got AF this morning.

o well at least I can enjoy a nice glass of wine on a Friday night guilt free.

p.s. this board is so friendly and lovely. You ladies should be proud.

Oops kind of missed the point of this thread with my grumbles.

I keep myself sane by cuddling up with my lovely DH, having a nice guilt free glass of pinot grigio and enjoying a silly movie and thinking that if we had our very much wanted little one, we wouldn't be able to do such things as much and enjoying our together time.

xx

MrsTatty 2 of my Great Gma's had a lot of kids....one 15 and on had 18. I just think that is beyond insane...I mean for God's sake when is enough enough. Can't even wrap my head around why they would do that!

Oh and another thing I do is eat a lot of icecream.....

Hunny has just bought me a beautiful bunny rabbit which is keepo=ing me very amused and i also have a cross stich im doing at the mo (evenually for a nursary i hope!) also keeps me busy!

Oh and i am helping a friend look after her horse and pony!

Im a primary school teacher and currently facing another 4 weeks off. Which is lovely, but can be very borning, especially when i have nothing to do but think about ttc!!!

Good luck to you all! x x

Exercise exercise exercise - without it I would be a gibbering wreck by now! Oh, and my kitty, he makes me feel good when I'm having a low moment.. even when he tried to eat my feet like earlier, mad cat.
