Does Anybody Know What Positive Ovulation Test for 2 weeks mean?
I started testing at CD 16 and received positives until I finished the test. I used Answer Daily Tracker and I thought that maybe I was using a bad batch so I had my husband try one but his came back negative. So why am I testing positive every day and I don't test in the morning because of the fact I know that we have LH in our system already. My cycles are 35 days long and my menstrual isn't due until Dec. 8th. Also I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms so I don't think I am pregnant. Has anybody went through this? Also I have the picture attached of 4 out of 20 ovulation tests the top 1st 1 is the test my husband took and the other 3 are mine...are they positive?
I took a FRER test but it was a bfn. My period isn't due until Dec. 8th is it possible I received a bfn because I tested too early? An online ovulation calculator said I was suppose to ovulate Nov. 25th but the day I started testing which was Nov. 19th in the afternoon, I started receiving positive tests. I don't know what to think now.
I can't give you a definite answer, but one month I had positives for 6 days so did a bit of research on it (it only happened to me that once and not since).
There is a site - peeonastick.com that has a lot of good info.
It does say that a positive OPK could mean pregnancy (which I hope is the case for you). However, it also says that home pregnancy tests are more sensitive so should pick up a pregnancy sooner (and be more accurate) than an OPK to test for pregnancy:
Also, I mention this because my sister has PCOS and could not use OPKs as they were positive all the time. It can be a sign of PCOS, but please don't worry as you could be pregnant (fingers crossed) or it could be a bad month and will change next month. If it happens every month, your doctor can help you make sure all it okay. Good luck!
@ Canagirl...Thanks I hope that my husband and I will receive our BFP seeing that we went through a pregnancy which ended in a miscarriage April of this year. I know that I have ovarian cysts from when my doctor did an ultrasound and told me. But he told me that they are so small that I have nothing to worry about and he said he's not even worried about them because it's normal. My period have been normal after the miscarriage and we are just really hoping that on Dec. 8th we receive a BFP.
I had positive opk for an entire month, unfortunately it was pcos I had other symptoms dating back 15 years plus I had tiny cyst on my ovaries...in some cases it can be pregnancy. Yours sounds more like preggo
@Canagirl Thanks for your support. @Lovelychick thanks for your help and I hope that I am pregnant because we have been trying since April when I had the miscarriage but I didn't receive my 1st period until June so we started again from there when my levels were completely at 0 and still no luck. Ovarian cysts runs in my family I've noticed. My mom has them and so does my sister both were blessed wih children and my sister is currently pregnant due any day now. Just praying that we receive a BFP because I'm starting to think that maybe my body isn't meant to have children. But I can't lose faith whenever the Lord bless us with children I just got to take it. Thanks to all and will keep everyone posted. Hopefully AF doesn't show her face.
