Fertility Specialist, what now?

Hello ladies,

We got DH SA results yesterday and they are low. 2/20 for concentration and 2%/15% for morphology. Everything else is low to but these are the 2 main areas of concern. My Doctor has referred us to a fertility specialist and apparently we should have our first appointment in a couple of weeks.

My DH has given 2 semen samples already and I'm have my blood taken on the 13th Jan (21 day) just to check me out. Doctor was keen we start doing this so it will speed up the process with the fertility guys. The SA results have recommended we be put forward for ICSI, but obviously this is months off yet.

I was just wondering if anyone has a similar experience or could tell me what to expect at my first appointment?

I'm in the same boat. Hubby's morph went from 11% to 5% so we're having a private advanced SA done at the end of Jan. If this test supports the others then ICSI is our only option and we will be starting that March/April!!
