calling all charting girls

sorry just starting this charting nonsense and got loads of questions lol

first of all what time of the day do you take your temps

i did mine at 7.30 but i now wondering if that was such a good idea cause on a sun i am at work from 7.15am

does the temp need to be taken as soon as you wake up?

what temps am i looking for for around ovulation and the end IF i was pregnant? i think when your on AF is quite low is that right?

is there anything else i should know

Hiya

Yeah you need to take your temp at the same time every day before moving around

You should notice a rise after ovulation which will stay elevated for your LP & only drop if AF comes for your next cycle (so hopefully it will stay up & she won't arrive)

You can click on the FF link in my sig if you wanna see what Im talking about

Good luck hun xx

I am on my third month of charting, i take my temp at 5:50 every single morning monday to sunday, as to get an accurate temp every single day.

I take my temp straight after switching off my alarm, and take it from there....

My temp spike from last month was drastic, so i have a .5 spike for Ovulation normally.

Good luck hun, and i Bding from CD8 thru to CD18 as i could O from CD12 to CD16 so just more fun in bed for me.....

I set my alarm for 6am every morning, pop the bbt in my mouth then go back to sleep until whenever. If you have to get up at 6am on sundays I would suggest taking it at 6am everyday regardless if you get up to start the day or not. I wouldnt disregard your temp from today it will be fine just continue to go on with 6am temps the only thing it will show is the hollow dot and if you only have 1 you're doing good lol...mine has had a few hollow dots! Good luck temping!! xo

I am a 6am temper as well!
For charting it is easier to use fertility friend or something like that it shows you all you need at a glance

Oh I forgot to add that its ok if you start your cycle on FF at cd2...Ive started mine further into my cycle (just before ov)but because you are only on cd2 it really shouldnt matter seeing as though you are only 1 day over. Just start your cycle with yesterdays date and start plotting today on..IYKWIM
Good luck hun, really hope you get your bfp this cycle!
