What in the world is going on. It's usually 7 days. I skipped my period in july, got it in august and started it this month the exact day it was due but it wont stop. The first 4 days was spotting brown discharge, 5th day was extremely heavy and then lightend up but no signs of stopping my boobs are still sore. What do you girls think? I talked to my doc 6 days ago and she said it was an abnormal period, but 11 days is a long time for me
I'm having a hell of a time with my cycle at the moment, my last period (back in July!!!) lasted 18 days including spotting. Before I went onto birth control pill I actually once bled a full cycle through, so over 30 days. Went to my GP then who said it happens that women just keep on bleeding and he suggested me going onto BCP to regulate my cycle. Didn't go to the GP this time around, and it stopped itself. Does mean I'm stuck with an uber long cycle atm, which I honestly hope you won't get!
If you're really worried, go see a GP. I asked some of my friends for advice (they work in the hospital) and all told me to go see a GP as sometimes constant bleeding can be caused by cysts that need removing. I didn't go, though if my cycle stays off wack I might have to. Don't regret not going though, as it did solve itself =)
Well I think it stopped when i went to the bathroom this morning when i woke up there was just a tad on the tampon..and I wanted to see what happens without one and i just checked and the was nothing..now I am trying to figure out if I am going to OV on time or is it going to be delayed b/c the period lasted longer
Can't answer that one I'm afraid. I'm now on CD63 and still haven't ovulated (not sure if I ever have before to be honest), however whether this is due to the long period or simply a messed up hormonal cycle I don't know. Either way, I hope you won't have to wait too long to find out and get things back on track again =)
