Acupuncture success?

Hi All,
I have my first session of Acupuncture tomorrow and i'm wondering if anyone has any good success stories to share?

I'm on my 5th month TTC and only on cycle 3 as they're so long, currently on CD61!

I'm hoping that it regulates me and starts making me ovulate, as I am doubtful that I am!

Any positive stories would be great! xx

Hey rubberducky

Acupuncture is supposed to help a lot with fertility, I've got my first appointment next Thursday (14th cycle TTC and just found out only 1 tube). I've been reading a really good book that explains how TCM and acupuncture can help - its called The Infertility Cure and i would recommend it to anyone who is TTC with cycle problems.

Hiya,

I have had about 4 sessions so far and it has helped me get AF back after goping off the BCP. I am loving it, it is very relaxing and helps with any stress you may have.
There is a thread on here where we have had 2 BFP's so far and it has only been a couple of months:

I've just got this book and I'm really enjoying it. It's so positive; i just wish I bought it 6 months ago. I've had 4 sessions and I think it has improved my previously scanty AF's. They were 1.5 days and this month it was 5 days. In the absence of a

I got my BFP after only 3 sessions of acupuncture, but a fair few months of TTC

Its an amazing book, I know what you mean - wish had of known about it sooner as well.

Where have you been going for your acupuncture happyshopper - is it the Ren clinic in Durham?

Hey Rubberdicky, how did the acupunture go? Did you like it? Did you feel anything diferent? I'm confident it will help regulate your cycles! Stay positive! You have had 3 cycles in 5 months I had only one and it was induced with progesterone pills eventhough my hormone levels were fine acording to the blood work.. Its crazy! And very frustrating not to know where you are in your cycle. Thats why I start with the acupuntire.

I go to Jayne Routledge in Stockton. She is very nice but I wish she did herbs xxx

Hi all!!
Well my body must have heard I was going to acupuncture cos AF turned up the night before!! Making it a 61 day cycle.

So I had my first session on Thursday evening - I loved it, I found it very interesting! Apparently the fluids in my body are 'stuck' so she's going to set about getting them flowing again whilst re-balancing my body.
I had 4 needles in my lower back for 3-4mins then turned over and had one in my head, 2 on each arm. 1 in each hand, about 6 on my stomach, 2 in each leg and 1 in each foot.
She said she used about as many pins as she would in 2 sessions but because I'm young (22) and was coping well she thought it was a good idea.

She said I could be exhausted that evening but it had the complete opposite effect on me, I was soo hyper I couldn't stop talking and was constantly twitching my legs! Must mention that to her next week...
