24 to 26 day cycle??? too short to conceive? PLEASE HELP

Ok so here is my situation every month. I ovulate around cyle day 15-16 and then AF arrives between cycle day 24-26. So if this is the case then I only make it to 9-12 DPO before AF arrives. Is this too short of a time period to conceive? What can I do to make my cycles a few days longer? Any one else have a similar situation and still get a BFP? Please help....... so confused

An LP 10 days or over is considered healthy, so as long as they are 10-12 more often than they are 9 I would not worry myself too much! Good Luck!

Thank you. I was starting to freak myself out. Seems like everyone else has normal 28 day cycles. Leave it to me to be different

My cycle was extremely short this month...22 daysI guess it is taking my system awhile to regulate after birth control pills. Don't think i have ever had such a short cycle. Thinking about starting B6 and low dose aspirin. Just not sure when I am supposed to take them during the cycle... And maybe some preseed for a little extra help.

Not everyone! FF has my LP's as short as 9 days and as long as 21!! FF even suggested I speak to my doctor about it, and she (my ob/gyn) acted as if she had no idea what an LP even was, so so much for that.

Wow sounds like you have an awesome doctor. So I guess I am not as odd as I think I am. I had a chemical in Jan so maybe my body is regulating from that too. Thanks!

Im willing to try. This is only my first month ttc, but with my second child it took 11 months. That was almost nine years ago...I figure my fertility has probably decreased even more since Ill be turning 35 next year. Im so sorry to hear about your chemical...that has to be tough.

25 day cycle over here and my Gyne hasn't made much of it. I started taking a B Complex and it does seem that I've gone from a Day 14 ovulation to Day 12. This is the 2nd cycle on B50 Complex and I'm happy with the lengthened LP. I should clarify that this happened about 6 months after getting off the pill so I think it's just a coincidence that I ovulated at CD12. I think it just took that long for my body to FINALLY become regular. Just be sure to take a Complex and not just B6. It's worth a shot...it just makes your pee look radioactive.
