I have been trying to conceive for 2years now, OH had low sperm count 0.5million been taking all vitamins and no alcohol smoking now he's above average 28million I have polycystic ovaries also, if we he had 0.5 million we would have had IVF but luckily it's gone up majorly and above average so they have prescribed me 50mg clomid after months of appointments.
I just wanted to know of any success stories of people taking clomid and also 50mg of clomid?
Also any tips on anything to take alongside clomid?
I am on cycle 5 of clomid this month, 50mg. I ov cycle 1, cycle 2, cycle 4. For some reason I didn't detect ov cycle 3 but I had AF on D28 like every other cycle, so hospital seemed to think I probably did. So I am now running like clockwork...Ov D14, AF D28.
Just hope it happens soon! I have also been having reflexology a few days before OV and I do think that this helps. Other than that I haven't done anything. I have ordered pre-seed for next month just to give that a whirl as well.
First two months I had heavy AF, bad headaches, hot sweats and OV pains. Cycle 3 a breeze...so it must reduce the longer you take it.
Thanks for the reply, I've heard of pre seed and evening primrose oil too but the consultant said I will read alot lol wasn't very helpful! It must be nice to know exactly when you ovulate and when af is due it will be nice to know that
What is reflexology?
I have only got 4 months worth and then she is goin to consider another method which I think is slightly unfair as I've heard of it taking up to 6 cycles with some people?
Thanks for the tips on the symptoms too.
Good luck for you on your next cycle- baby dust to you
It is nice as I feel more in control, but feeling the pressure as only have 2 rounds left and then have to back to the specialist to look at what the next step is for us. I am so hoping that is happens in these next two cycles. We are BD'ing from D10, D12, D14,D15,D16 abd D8...so hopefully covering all avenues?!
Just found out my BF is preg, not even trying only been with her partner 4 months, not even BD'ing lots...drinks loads, smokes, party animal...so feeling it even more!
Reflexology is where your foot gets massaged, but it can be a bit painful in parts, the woman I see concentrates on my ovaries so it helps me ovulate. The people that practice say that the soles of your feet relate to every part of yr body. She found from my feet I have fluid on my ovaries, I shallow breathe and I have a bad neck...I do think it has helped. As the month I didnt think I ov on clomid was the month I didnt have reflexology!?
How long have you been ttc? I hope the clomid works for you...
2 years and yes a majority of my friends are pregnant and exactly the same as your friends it's so unfair really.
Reflexology sounds good I may have to give it a go, it's hard ttc when people say stop worrying and putting pressure on yourself ad these people are the ones who fall pregnant so easily!
I wish you all the luck, and hope we both don't end up having to go onto another method, I have my fingers crossed for you bfp
Oh I know, If I hear just relax it will happen one more time!
How can you relax when you have been ttc for so long and everyone around you is pregnant...it's tough! I am the same been ttc for 2 yrs, diagnosed with PCOS last yr but only BD'ing properly the last couple of months. Prior it was a bit hit and miss and sometimes only once at ov...so wasn't giving it the best chance.
It will happen, I think it's just timing. Keep positive...yes give Reflexology a go, have it done around the time you think you will OV. So I have it around D10 or D13.
I have read alot of clomid successes, so I hope it works out for you!
PCOS I hate it! And yes I've been looking up success stories on the internet but not too sure I'll be a lucky one I seem to have bad luck all the time but fingers crossed! I've heard alot of success from takin clomid on round 5/6 so good luck to you
I too am on 1st cycle of clomid 50 mg days4-8. Used preseed because clomid DID dry up my cm. Also I would recommend taking at night because it can cause headaches. I am now 10 dpo so fingers crossed. GL to you.
