fitness fanatics....

Ok so Im a bit of a fitness freak, I go to classes about 4-5 times a week, mainly just body step and body pump, my question is do you think these are ok to do whilst ttc, it wont do any harm in 2 ww will it? Obviously I plan to do less high impact if i conceive but I was just wondering about now.......

Hi Little G I would think that exercising won't have an effect on your body while TTC, obviously I wouldn't recommend DTD then nipping straight off the gym 30 minutes later but I'm sure you already know that!

it is encouraged to keep a healthy body especially when TTC (to give your baby the best home for 9 months) - so I certainly wouldn't stop doing what your currently doing. If you start feeling more exhausted with the current routine while TTC I would consider reducing the amount of time you spend at the gym but don't cut it out altogeter. I wish I had your motivation but I'm a right lazy bum!

lol, thanks. I was just a bit unsure about lifting heavy weights, I dont want to be doing anything that might delay ttc, but then again I dont want to not carry on as normal in 2ww if its not doing me any harm..

if you test and do get a bfp I would go see and dr, get it all confirmed and let him know about the gym workouts, he may recommend appropiate workouts for you.
