Positive LH surge for 6 days!!?? HELP!?

Hello All!, My husband and I have been TTC for over a year and I resorted to the OPK tests. This month 11 days after the first day of my period I got a positive LH test, now 6 days later I'm still getting positives! Can someone please tell me what they think is going on here!!? Thanks!

Hi
A constantly positive LH test could indicate PCOS as sufferers have constant high levels of LH, but before jumping to conclusions, are you sure it's still positive? If you're using the line reading ones, the test line has to be darker than the control line for it to be positive. Just seeing two lines doesn't mean it's positive as we always have some level of LH in our system.
Have you tried clearblue digital ones with the smiley face? They're much easier to read.
If you're sure the test is still positive then maybe go and speak to your doctor for a bit of help.
Hope I helped a bit

LH surges can last a few days, but six days does sound a bit unusual. It might be worth talking to your doctor? Do you know if you normally ovulate reguarly?

I had this one month too. It was really strange and I have no idea why it happened but the other months have all been normal so hopefully you will be the same x x x

No I don't ovulate regularly, last month I had a positive LH for only one day, but didn't conceive. My AF cycle is around a 33 or 34 day cycle.

It might be worth checking with your doctor then. Just to make sure everything is ok. Lots of luck to you.
