Nursery Theme Picked Already? Yep, I'm THAT crazy.

OK. I TOTALLY realize it's WAAAAY too early to be picking out/buying anything baby related -- names, cribs, etc... but I had an epiphane the other day and now I can't get it out of my head! I've been trying to get my mind off TWW/timing/ovulating/freaking out by just thinking about nursery themes and the idea came to me the other day for a Dr. Seuss themed nursery. So I kept thinking about it and then I had a bunch of extra time at work this week so I started looking online briefly....and now I'm officially obsessed. I even started a registry <insert scream here>

How did this happen!? I'm a big fan of being prepared and everything, but I think I've officially taken it to a new level, even for me. Is anyone else out there my brand of crazy? If so, wanna indulge the craziness and share any cute nursery ideas? I promise I won't tell a soul!

I've been thinking about this myself!! We're painting the bedrooms and my 11 month old will share the smaller bedroom with the new baby. Even if it's a girl. I plan on painting their room a pastel yellow so it's neutral. He'll be 19 months (if I conceive this cycle) but I think it'll be fine if he shares his room with his little brother or sister. my 5 y.o shared her room when she was 22 months old with her newborn sister so I think it'll be fine. I'm going to look at nursery themes Plus, my son needs a new crib anyways so this should be even more fun!!

Yep, I've done the same..I start looking at things and look at other people's nursery and have now gotten obsessed. The theme for our room is going to be Lion King. So I've already found outfits and cute things to put in the room. This is only cycle #2, for our 1st child, so I think I've gotten overboard. I've not bought anything yet, but have come close.

i dont think your the only 1!!!... when we eventually get pregnant and stay pregnant!!!, were moving both our boys into the bigger bedroom (they have their owns rooms at the min, but like to sleep in the same bed)... so were thinking bunk beds for them and then baby can have their own room, so baby doesnt wake its big brothers up

Im going to have a Mamas & Papas nursery room/Furniture... i had M&P nursery furniture with my first and it lasted years and then used for my second... so ill deffo buy another set.

Ill have either girly/boyish themed

Has anyone been thinking of baby names? I know I have but I haven't discussed them with DH yet. I plan on doing that today though.

Yeah My OH picked our names and I ended up loving them so that was handy.

For a girl - Darcy Rose and for a boy - John Atticus (I like Johnny but OH late father was John but we'd still call him Johnny as it's much more boyish!)

What's yours? xo

Nice names

As of right now, I have no clue!! I'm going to talk them over with DH tonight. I like the name Jade for a girl but I don't think he's going to go for it. I know he's been wanting the name Jacob for a boy so we'll see.
