Shift Workers

Hey All

Just wondering if there are any other shift workers out there as frustrated as I am with "scheduling"?? I work a rotation of 2 days, 2 nights then 5 off.. 12 hour shifts.. unfortunately it seems that for the past few months my window of fertility has fallen right in the middle of my set at work. After driving an hour to work.. working for 12 hours then an hour home I am exhausted and really in no mood for BD. Any one else???

We are there with you! I work 7am -4pm my hubby works 5pm-1am sometimes 5am. When I get home my mom is here cause she helps with my special needs son. She talks my head off as soon as I get thru the door! My poor hubby cannot get a word in! The BDing at night is just too much and it takes me forever to go back to sleep!!!

I have a similar case. OH has been working 12 hour shifts Mon-Fri, which leaves little time for BD.

I do not work, but DH works shifts. He swings Midnight, afternoon, day. Changes every week, and works every other Saturday. Thinking of trying opk's, but not sure if it will drive me nuts if I get a positive and know he won't be here.

I don't work shifts, but my hubby does. This week has been fertile window and he's had to do overtime and has been leaving the house at ten, and not getting into bed till gone midnight. First thing in the morning doesn't work for bd'ing as we have a nine month old who wants out attention.

I find it v frustrating!!
