First of all, GL to everyone TTC!!! Go get that bfp!!
Okay, question to the experts: EWCM what does it mean? Does it mean you OVed? That you will Ov? That you are able to Ov? I'm sure I've asked this question before put I just want to be sure I understand this stuff. It sounds to me that EWCM is not a guarantee Ov. What do you ladies think...or know??
It's not a *guarantee*, but an indicator that Ov is *probably* coming. I have it for almost a week pre-ov, but some people don't get any, and there are people everywhere in between.
For most women, I think it's a few days pre-ov. However, it's possible for your body to gear up to ov and not release the egg. In that case, you'd probably have EWCM for a while and then it might drop off. For some women, they even gear up several times, having EWCM each time, before they finally to ov.
I would also like to add to what the other ladies said, that ewcm isn't necessary to get pregnant, but it is very sperm friendly and helps it to "survive" up to 5 days on the "inside" So it is best to BD when you have it, and if your using opk's and temping you can confirm if you've ov'd and hopefully after a few months you'll have your BFP or at least a pattern of your cycles.. Good Luck
