So I have been taking low dose aspirin for the last 7 days. I have read up on it and I know the pros and cons of taking it, but I have a 9/10 day LP and I am hoping it could help me.
I have been noticing that I have been having bleeding gums when I brush. I am 4 dpo today and noticed yesterday when I was brushing there was quite a lot of blood when I rinsed in the sink. I had some today but not as much. When I thought back I remember having this around the time of Ov.....
I know this can be a sign of pregnancy and I did have this with DD but not until later on in the pregnancy. And it defo started around when I ovulated so too early to be pregnancy.
I dont have any issues with my teeth or gums so I am wondering if this could be caused by the baby aspirin...I have googled and cant find much on this.
SO I turn to you guys...anyone taken this and had this issue? Maybe I just need to go to the dentist!?
I havent been taking asprin however i do have bleeding gums...iv been having them since around 5 dpo, along with a bloody nose after blowing it (had a cold since about 2 dpo) im 14 dpo and still have this cold and still have bleeding gums - iv never had problems with my gums either - hopefully this will be our month iv been ttc for around 30 months now - on the list for ivf, having trouble conceiving due to endrometriousis. fingers crossed for you hun i darent test yet, af is due today or tomorrow xx
yeah bleeding gums is totally a sign of preg but I really didnt think it could happen this early. My MIL always says this was her 1st sign of pregnancy.....so FX!
GL to you hun.
Trying not to test until AF is missed, I am a bridesmaid at the wkend so I will be busy and hopefully this will keep my mind off it. AF is due 13th.
I will be stalking to see if you post a BFP in a few days!
yeah I have some cramps and sore BB's but get this every month. I'll see what happens in the next few days, might stop the baby aspirin see what happens, if this is causing it its defo not a good thing.....
thank you mrssat i will keep you updated. I always get new symptoms each month tho and she always turns up be it a day late or so. I did have a dream I was pregnant last night dreamt i seen the test and the lines and everything, probs cos its the last thing on my mind lol. didnt realise this was so hard im trying not to test until maybe a day or two. I hope you get your BFP too eeek xxx
I am a Dental Hygienist and I know that aspirin alone does cause bleeding gums on some people. I also know that alot of my pregnant patients have bleeding gums! I am really hoping in your case it's a sign of pregnancy! But, it is very important to brush and floss very well when you have bleeding gums.. but, it is absolutely normal in either case!
I'm currently on baby aspirin also for almost 7 days now, and I haven't had any issue with bleeding gums. I'm also in the same boat of I have really good teeth and gums. Soo...with that being said, I'm not sure. I don't have that problem. Sorry I'm not much help, but I just wanted to let you know I'm kinda in your shoes with the aspirin and how long I've been on it.
