What methods have you tried so far?


I'm procrastinating lol. I have loads to do, but I'm on here and looking for reasonable hotels to stay in in NY lol.

So, what methods have you tried so far to get pregnant??? Just thought it'd be interesting to see!

In the 9 cycles we have spent ttc so far, we have tried:

Sex every day
Sex twice a day
Sex every other day
Sex every three days
Tablets - mother and father to be
Giving up caffeine
Preseed
BBT
Conceive Plus
OPKs
CBFM
Grapefruit juice
Green Tea
Laying with my legs up for half an hour after sex
Softcups
Hubby has quit smoking and cut down on alcohol
He has eaten foods which are supposed to be good for his sperm

EDIT: Forgot I also have a moonstone ring, a rose quartz bracelet, Hawaiian lava beads hanging above our bed and a fertility statue in our living room!

Sex almost everyday
Charting
OPKs
green tea
Multivitamin with loads of Vit B

This cycle, especially since it has gone wonky:
Sperm Meets Egg Plan (sort of, with this long cycle, it has been a challenge)
Grapefruit juice
Vitex

I just got a used CBEFM for next cycle, if we need it.

Ginger and lemon tea
Green Tea
pregnacare conception
legs up after sex
sex every second day then every day then every second day
eating pineapple
eating sunflower seeds
gave up alcohol
cutting down on processed food.
trying to cut out bottled water (difficult)
cutting down on cheese!
more wholegrains


going to try egg whites next cycle if doesnt work this one

also going to try and get some moonstone. Know its sounds hippish but the girls on the moonstone thread have me convinced theres loads of s
on there

Ha, I forgot I also bought a moonstone ring - and a rose quartz bracelet - have gone through 1 full cycle and 2 partial cycles with it as I bought it mid cycle!

Out of interest, why are you cutting out bottled water???

I read a few articles that the chemicals from the plastic leeches into the water and very bad when ttc! might be a bit overboard but at this stage every little helps ill try and find a link for you. they recommend youing filtered water and only drinking water stored in pyrex or glass. x

Sex every other day (SMEP)
Vitamins for sperm viability
Giving up caffeine
Preseed
Conceive Plus
BBT Charting
OPKs
Grapefruit juice
Pineapple Juice
legs up after sex
more exercise
Soy isoflaves

This cycle I'm using Preseed, Conceive Plus, OPKs, and Mucinex. Possibly also charting temps, definitely charting CM

What are these for? Something specific or just eating healthier?
sunflower seeds
cutting down on cheese
more wholegrains

cutting down on cheese to improve cm wholegrains and sunflower seeds to improve chances of conception x

thanks!

I'll definitely give that a try. I eat a LOT of cheese so it's going to be difficult to cut back but I'll certainly give it a go. I eat sunflower seeds 3-5 days per week already so that's cool and I eat a fair amount of whole grains but can probably up that as well.
