I think I have a lazy ovary :(

Looking back over my charts, I've had a 33 day cycle, then 41, then 34, then 41, then 33. It looks like one side ovulates about a week later the other side. How weird! Does anyone else have this?

Hi!

I've been wondering the same thing - since coming off the pill my cycles have been 33 days, 49 days, 35 days and now I'm on CD44, waiting for AF or a BFP (already had BFN on CD42)!

It's so frustrating as I just don't know when I'm ovulating! I'm not charting or anything like that, maybe I will have to start.

Did you find any info out on lazy ovaries at all?

I think theres always one ovary more dominant then the other .
i think i have a problem with my left one wich theres a cyst on .
i read its possible that only one ovary is able to release an egg and the other one is basicly "nogood ".

Interesting...I look forward to asking the specialist. Since coming off pill I've had 3 cycles of 38-39 days and three 48-49 days, alternating. Weird!

@ Katie blue, that's good to hear! I've been off the pill 13months so I am hoping that mine might sort themself out soon too? Although when I had ultrasound yesterday the doc there did say I might get prescribed Clomid....we'll see!

I took about 1.2-1.8g of agnus castus vitamins a day for 3 months from sept-Dec and I think that helped me a great deal. Good luck with clomid!
