Hi ladies! Feeling worried and discouraged today .
I've been off depo for 1 year. My last shot wore off november of last year. I stArted my period for the first time in May, then no af in june, then a normal af in july and august. I haven't had a period since august.
I go to the OBGYN for the first time on the 9th to see if we can get some help.
Its been such a long year I want nothing more than to get my bfp!
So my question is, how long after your last depo shot wore off did u get your bfp?
I'm in the same boat as you. I went off depo last September and still TTC. My doctor told me its normal to take up to two years to get preggo after depo (I could have killed her for not mentioning that BEFORE the shot). Anyways... I'm not worried yet myself, just extremely frustrated. Are your cycles back to normal?
Milian- No my cycles are not even close to normal since I got off depo last Nov, I had a period in may and that one lasted me all month! Then I didn't have a period in june. Then I had a normal period in july & august. Now its Nov 2011 and I haven't had a period since august those are the only 3 periods I've had all year. I don't know what to do about it
MissWhite- that does give me hope! I wish we could be that lucky!
Hi, I just wanted to say that I was on depo for 3 years, had my last shot October 2009 (which would have made it January 2010 that it wore off). Had my first period after depo in May 2010, then it stopped in August. After a year of TTC with my ex with no luck, I finally got into my docs in January 2011 and was diagnosed with PCOS in February 2011. Then I concived in May or June 2011 with my now OH. (misscarried but at least I know now it IS possible to concieve after depo)
So all in all it took me 14 months, and a change of OHs to concieve after depo.
I was on depo for almost a year. My last shot expired in June of this year and I had my first cycle in september. I wasny charting or taking any supplements besidesndaily vitamins And i just got my BFP today. Best of luck to you. Don't stress too much. Everyone's bodies are different.
