3 faint instant clearblue but one neg first response :-(

Well here's my problem.....

I felt sick a couple of days ago do decided despit very early to use the clearblue plus test I got with my ov test.

The result came up faint positive instantly then faded away. But it was thick like the other line not thin like normal evap lines!

I was so confuse I bought another pack of 2 of the same test and the same thing happened with both so I started to get very excited even tho they were disappearing

But this morning I rushed to tesco to get a first response but it was negative? I don't know what the hell to think!

Has anyone else had this with clearblue and not been or been pregnant??

Thanks ladies

I personally would never use CB unless it was the digi, as you have heard about the evaps and false positives.

When you used the CB, did you read the positive result at the right time?

Hi Bearsmummy

Thanks for replying, i got quite a dark thick positive straight away but then it faded away after about a minute and just left a very very faint thin line? any ideas?

I would discount that myself, especially as it was when the test was still working and you didnt read the positive result at the allotted time.

Sorry.

Try again with a FRER with FMU in the morning.

Good Luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

well i called and spoke to someone, she said its normal for a positive sign to come up instantly and fade away if the result is negative.
she said you have to read the test after 2 minutes but before 10 anything before or after is not accurate.
When i told her even after the thick positive line has faded between 2 and 10 mins there is a thin line there, she said this means the test is invalid and asked for the number on the box and said they would resend a digital test.....
So if this is the case so often......WHY ARE THE SELLING THE BLUE DYE TEST???
it just seems to get a lot of ppls hopes up for nothing. why dont they scrap this one completely and just sell the digi?
oh well ill just cling to the fact i have a few days left before af due yet and got a few different symptoms to normal months such as creamy cm, hot and veiny so still staying positive :-)
