Cervix position..please help

hello ladies! during my 1st round of letrozole and reading how all BandB ladies check their cervix, i thought i would try! i never had before and really wasnt sure what to feel for. regardless, it never changed, or if it did, i couldnt tell...again, i have never tried before. anyhow, i have been taking 2 progesterone suppositories (vaginal) a day for 11 days now. tonight when i went to put in my 2nd suppository, i noticed it was kind of hard to get the applicator in. like something was in my way! is that my cervix changing positions? i didnt actually check with my fingers bc i had just released my suppository, so i didnt think i should. would it be getting higher bc of progesterone? is this a good sign (or no sign at all)? anyone have any thoughts or experienced this?? thanks ladies!

Unfortunately, cervix position doesn't mean anything really. Mine moves around quite a bit all thru my cycle. I actually got really curious and got one of those things the doc uses and look at mine (which is gross but kinda interesting too). When a person is pregnant the cervix will go way high and get soft, but that can happen well after pregnancy has already been confirmed. I've read women say they didn't think they were pregnant (when they were) bc their cervix was low and firm. Sooooo, really can't tell from the position.

My cervix position can change throughout the day even so cp doesn't really mean anything, the only thing I can tell from my cervix is when ovulation is approaching as it goes higher up x

I actually just had the EXACT same thing happen to me! I'm using progesterone suppositories for the first time, and haven't checked my cervix at all. I started taking them on 2 dpo, and I use a Canesten applicator. Well, come that first Sunday after O, 4dpo, all of a sudden, I couldn't get the applicator up high anymore, a good inch and a half lower, plus the tip came out with a little bit of pink blood. I couldn't figure out what had happened, and actually got a bit worried, was I going up to high with the applicator? Well, it stayed like this an entire week, with pink stuff on the tip, then last Sunday, 11dpo, I got a temp dip (check my chart). I was pretty emotional that day, thought I was out, for sure (plus that's already 2 days past my usual luteal phase). When I went to put in my progesterone with the applicator the day of the temp dip, I was shocked, it went right back up again, could put it almost all the way in! And no more pinkish stuff on the tip, clean. So anyways, the NEXT day, 12dpo, my temp went up! yay! BUT BFN. So then I thought back to being able to put the applicator all the way up and I did a bunch of research on cervix changes, and at ovulation, it's high and soft, then it goes down and can be quite engorged (hence the pink), and stays low if menstruation is on the way. If it goes up, that could be a sign of pregnancy!

So anyways, mine has been up for 4 days now, all clean tips, and my temps are rising. BUT the progesterone is probably doing all that. I just don't know if the progesterone could be causing my cervix to be higher, as well? Or an implantation dip with a high cervix the same day could be my BFP?

I'm testing tmrw AM 15dpo and I'll let you know! G/L to you!!!!

thanks for sharing! im not having any pink come out with it, it's just really difficult to get the applicator up high anymore!! this morning was ok, but tonight, it almost hurt a little and i barely had the applicator in. I asked the nurse about it and she said it was probably 1 of 2 things...either the cervix is inflamed OR there could be build up from all the progesterone suppositories and i could "clean it out". WHAT?? how am i supposed to do that? haha she was like "just put your finger up there, maybe a q-tip and try to get some of it out!" no thanks... so i dont know. luckily tomorrow is the last day to use them. I should hopefully start my period around christmas. really hoping i do bc then i can start my shots. GL to you as well!! say a little prayer for me if you dont mind!

Well, cervix position didn't mean a thing!

BFN 15dpo, so no more progesterone for me today. On to the next cycle! At least progesterone completely fixed my short luteal phase issue! Now it's just to keep trying and make sure BD'ing at the right time and it WILL happen for me.

Thanks for thinking of me and G/L to you!!
