positive or negative first response early result??

What does it mean if a first response early result test looks negative but turns clearly positive after the 10 minute time frame?? I have heard girls say that this means a positive and others say that it is a definitive negative. It has happened to me 4 times now. I am 13 DPO (ovulated/had unprotected sex on dec. 20th, 2011), bloated, nauseous, having bad headaches, increased discharge, and i had a light brownish spotting that lasted 2 days on and off at 8 DPO. Please help me! anyone clear this up?? Thank you so much for your help, I greatly appreciate any insight

no i have only done the FRER, i have heard that those are the best. im so confused! i guess i will try another brand tomorrow. its very strange, im sure im not the only one who takes a few last looks at old tests after theve been in the garbage for a few hours haha...but for four of them to turn positive? i dont know. one did show a VERY VERY faint positive within the 3 minute result time and got darker throughout the day, but then i did another test later that day and it was negative...until about 3 hours later of course when it turned positive like the rest. what do you think??

I have always used First Response pregnancy test (I just don't like their ovulation test) and they were always right but I never had a delayed +. But with having 4 + and seeing a faint line within 3 mins, I would say there is a good chance you are pregnant! Good luck testing tomorrow

thanks so much! im nervous! have you ever heard of this happening to anyone else? the test that was VERY faint was so faint that i opened it just to be sure...i really could barely tell...but it consistently got darker. i just want to know! its so frustrating...ive got one more FRER that im going to try in the morning. if that one does this too, im going to get another brand and try it the next day.

Thank you! I don't know what to think at this point...have you ever heard of this happening to anyone? The worse part is that I'm a nurse and still have no idea what on earth is going on with my body!!
