Pregnacare conception

Hi, I bought a pack of pregnacare conception and took them for 2 days, no days I had excruciating on off headaches every 5 minutes lasting around 5 seconds each, keeping me awake at night, I haven't taken one today and had no headaches. Has anyone had anything similar? They don't have anything about side effects on the leaflet, I presume because they are a vitamin.

Are your levels of something contained in it not maybe on the high side already? That could maybe cause the head aches...

Hmm, haven't taken any other vits alongside it, so I don't think so... I took b6 and b12 last week but haven't since these arrived. I might try them again in a few days x

Oh it's not just from taking vitamins... You could just be getting a lot of one particular thing from your eating habits...

Here is a link to the list of "vitamins" found in Pregnacare http://www.vitabiotics.com/Pregnacar...oductinfo.aspx
It has things like N acetyl cysteine (I don't quite know the amount) which they say is mucolytic. N acetyl cysteine is used as an antioxidant; Apparently, it does have adverse reactions, although those are not entirely clear to me.
Hope that helps
