Where do I begin?

After a long and grueling 42 day cycle I am back at day 1. I was absolutely convinced this was it. Who is 12 days late and not pregnant? Me. Last month was our first month TTC. We did nothing special - other than have sex more times in a month than we had all year.

I have a new plan and would like input. This month I am going to do anything and everything to get knocked up.

So I bought 5 ovulation tests at dollar tree - are these good or bad?
I am going to start with bBt and charts starting tomorrow. I had my electric blanket on high so I figured I needed to skip as I heard that will make bBt high. I think I am going to go to walgreens and buy some Pre-seed. Has anyone ever used it?

What else can I do?

Yeah I really do not understand charting either. I just see that everyone on here is big on it and so I thought I would do it.

I use preseed but I don't use the recommended amount because that's way too much. This is my first cycle using it and I really like it so far. I use Dollar Tree OPK's (: This is also my first cycle with BBT. But, I just read about SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) today and if we don't get our this cycle, I'm going to do that next cycle.

Good Luck! I too have no idea about charting, it's so confusing, but I just wanted to wish you luck

I can only speak for the $tree OPKs (as I don't do any of the other things you're trying out). They worked beautifully for me last cycle. Got a glaring positive right around when I expected it. So they do work! I tested once a day, random times between 2 PM and 7 PM. I'm not too anal about it.

Hello,
let me say that your sarcastic post made me laugh : )
And I really hope that this next cycle is it for you!

I was not into charting before I joined this site. I had never even heard of it before. But I went to Walgreens because I'm crazy (during one of my TWWs) and bought my BBT thermometer. I happened to get my BFP like a week later, so I no longer needed it. Sadly that pregnancy ended in MMC.

I am back at temping and I love it! After my D&C, I was waiting and going mad wondering if I would get AF or O first. On cycle day 34 I could clearly see that I just ovulated, and that was also confirmed with on +OPK on cycle day 33. So no AF yet, just O 34 days later

So now I am in my TWW and hoping my temps stay high for at least 16 days (that's how it goes in BBT land). High temps after O mean a pregnancy.

I would suggest going to a site that explains it all.

Good luck!

I think its a great idea to start BBT, I do recommend you getting more then 5 opks I normally try to
keep about 20 on hand per cycle just in case its a long one.
I buy my opks online ( saves money and lets me get enough to last a few months without getting weird looks at the store), start testing at about cd 10 and test at noon everyday till you get your +. sperm meets egg plan is also a good idea.

Thanks gals.

@Dahlia sarcasm is one of my best (or worst) qualities depending on the day. Just my way of dealing I guess. This TWW was emotionally draining and my hubby wants to take a break and I say no way jose.

with special thanks to Babydustx3 I will be jumping on this whole sperm meets egg thing STAT...that is IF I do not bleed to death first.

Holy crap. I think is trying to make up for being 12 days late. Never in the 17 years that she has visited has it been this bad. I am DYING. Ok it might have been this bad at first -now that I think back to do remember cramps so bad I had to go home from school early and barf then go to bed hugging a heating pad.

SO gals. Thanks for your support. I hope you all get your BFP this cycle!
