Parsley Tea

Has anyone ever tried drinking parsley tea to kick start their period? I've not had one for 3 1/2 months and I'm starting to get desperate!!

Hi, sorry I have no idea but didn't want to read and run. I have never heard of that. Are your cycles not regular or just a one off?

Since coming off the pill a year ago, my periods have been ALL over the place. I've had about 4 in the last year and I've currently not had one for 3 1/2 months. I've been the doctors and they said there is nothing they can do until my next period starts, then they can do a blood test on day 3 to check my FSH levels. I could be waiting another 6 months at this rate, so I'm trying to find ways to make it arrive.

Ohh I see.... BC is a flippin nightmare when you've decide your ready ttc. My cycles were all over the place when trying for DS2. The only thing that sorted me out was acupuncture and TCM, ever thought of trying it? They really help balance your hormones, which I guess is why your not ovulating. Good luck!!

I tried parsley tea, parsley pessary, and started taking vitex in order to end an anovulatory cycle that ended up lasting 73 days. I'm not sure if any of those things helped, but anything that might help is worth trying IMO.

I tried the parsley tea and the vitex/agnus castus...but no luck for me. Still no AF. Have been having severe, nasty cramps for over a week, but the witch refuses to show. This is the longest cycle i've EVER had. I'm going to go to the doctor (hopefully tomorrow) and BEG for provera to start AF.

I'm not a big fan of parsley so I steeped it, and then added mint green tea to it so that it just tasted like mint. It wasn't too bad, actually....but no AF.

When i came off the pill my cycles were similar to yours. I got diagnosed with PCOS and put on Metformin. This regulated my cycles and we finally got pregnant naturally - perhaps somethng to ask your doctor about?

For me...i'm already on metformin.

Just got back from the doctors....and got the "Don't worry. You have lots of time. You're only 27"......and apparently in Canada, they don't DO oral progesterone's anymore because that's an "outdated" treatment.

WTF??????

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad.

I've just been prescribed Metformin! I've been taking it for 5 days, currently on 500mgs, in 2 days I'll be going up to 1000mgs. How long were you taking it before you got your ?

It worked for me. I drank like at least 4 cups of parsley tea for 2 days and BAM! I wanted to start a new cycle since it was long and annovulatory.
