I think the major concern with Clomid is that it reduces the amount of CM you produce... However, I just came across a product that might help with this. I'm going to try it this cycle to see how well it works... it's called FertileCM. I think you can get it at www.fertilecm.com. I'm interested to see if it changes anything. On the website it does say it is recommended to use it with Clomid since it has a tendency to dry up CM.
Hey Mrs.326 - What did you do/try the month you got your bfp?.. I think I'm going to try pre-seed which looks simular to fertile cm to help with dryness and CM.... Just wondering if you have any other ideas??

Clomid has helped tons of women ovulate and get pregnant .I got pregnant on my first cycle but M/C.
clomid works by blocking estrogen which raises LH and FSH . the anti estrogen effects are what causes some women to produce less CM and can also thin the uterine lining. so its a good idea to get your lining checked around cd 10.
if your doctor thinks its too thin estrogen pills can be taken to thicken it. if you dont have fertile CM you can use preseed.

Thanks Lisa! Yes I understand how clomid works! Just wondering if people did anything differently the month they conceived! I'm going to try pre seed this month but just wondering if there are any different ideas or tips out there as I'm willing to try almost anything!

Funny enough I got my BFP the same cycle the clomid failed to work. My doctor had called in Provera to start AF and I was on vacation so I didn't start it. Sure enough, when we got home from Mexico, I got a BFP! I never tried the FertileCM, but I did use preseed and I also did acupuncture that cycle as well. Hope you get your BFP soon!
