@Steph: I have been told that women with PCOS will have almost positives or positives with OPK's most of the time, I'm not trying to be a downer but I have had positive OPK's for about a week now and they go from positive to negative to positive again so if they continue to be positive I would just consider being fertile and try to DTD every other day at least to make sure you don't miss O. Good luck I really hope that this works out for you

Thanks ladies!
Steph that is def darker! I'm not really big on using the opk's, maybe I will try it out if I dont get pregnant this month. Doctor also advised me to track my bbt which I havent even started yet, will probably start tomorrow.

cdn - doc recommended 500mg/4x a day but told me to start with 500mg/2x a day for the first 2 weeks. Wow, the weight loss is such a bonus! I've also read positive reviews about this too. Guess I will just go get my prescription filled today. My doc has many years of experience (all of my family and friends recommended him) so I'm guessing he knows what he's doing. I'm just so happy that he's willing to help me, most ob doctors that I have seen in the past pretty much just brush me off if I'm not pregnant, this doc wants me to come back in 6 weeks to follow up with my bbt chart.

I know thats the only downside with PCOS..I have tracked with OPKS before I started getting darker lines. I am so frustrated, because before my ovulation time I wasnt getting anylines or a line that was very faint.. This is the first full month I am on metformin I feel its different, I have had some cramps and maybe ovulation pain on occasion the past 3 days.. It just sucks.. I wish I could be normal, i wish that it would be easy for me to get pregnant again I am doing this for my family, my husband wants another baby and my son, I just dont want him to grow up with no siblings. I grew up being the only child and was very lonely. I believe that God will bless me again, however why do I try so hard? UGH i am so frustrated! Sometimes I just wanna cry..

Steph - I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I just picked up my metformin, so starting tomorrow we will both be on this tomorrow. Lets pray for a Christmas gift!

I'm hoping that maybe this means my hormones are regulating!!!! Yay!
Hey, would you be able to put a link to your BBT chart? I started Metformin this cycle and I also noticed that my temps have been close together and not all over the place like last cycle. But the only weird thing is that my temps are in a roller coaster pattern (link is in sig). I really think I O'd on CD21 but a week later my temps dropped again so I don't know what that's about?? Does your chart look normal?

Jess - Click on my chart in my siggy and it should take you there.

I don't know if my chart is "normal" or not. lol

FF is telling me I o'd on CD22 now...which is when DH was sick and we weren't DTD AT ALL because I thought I o'd on CD18 and was done. So i'm pretty sure i'm out this cycle.

Time to go jump off a bridge. *sigh*

resque - I would wait and test again. It may be a chemical pregnancy because most doctor's offices DON'T use the super-early preg tests that we do...

Hoping for you that the HCG goes up and not down.
