VERY early pregnancy symptoms???

I came off the pill on 27/02 after my withdrawal bleed and over the past few days I have been having cramps/mild pains in my lower abdomen and have been very gassy (sorry if tmi!) and bloated to the point that I actually look pregnant! Bloating only seems to begin after I first eat something in the morning. I've also been tired even though I have had enough sleep the night before.

Has/did anyone else have these symptoms and it turn out you were pregnant? We are TTC and this may just all be in my head and is actually just my body adjusting to being off the pill! I have no idea if I've ovulated either because I've not used tests just me and OH have been DTD every few days. I really want to take a pg test but I know its too early so going to wait until my first 'real' period is due which should be 19/03 based on me having a 28 day cycle.

Any advice/thoughts would be great! xxx

Hey zoe i am the same i took my last bcp on the 14th feb and last week also had the cramping and still am bloated. I think its just from coming of bcp i had also been hoping that the crammping had been early signs of pregnancy but doubt it as my oh and i have been using the pull out method

this first month to my cycles are back to normal.

Hi, it's so hard to tell, your body really plays tricks on you when coming of bcp, everything goes out of wack. Saying that though, they where my exact early symptoms. Cramping from O to about 3 of 4 weeks, and blimey I had never had gas like it! Fingers crossed for you

It can take a long time for your cycle to regulate after BCP. Thats not to say that you can't get pregnant! I just wouldn't expect to have regular cycles for awhile. Thats not every woman, but many take awhile. I suggest temping! You really know where you are in your cycle by temping!

If you only stopped taking the pill 2/27, then that was only like 10 days ago - I think it would be almost impossible to be pregnant this early. Generally women will ovulate around 2 weeks after they start their period (or withdrawl bleed, in your case). If you time sex right, then it would be about another week before implantation takes place (which is the earliest that symptoms could start), and then a few days or a week to even get a positive pregnancy test. If you have another 12 days before your next period, then you have a ways to go before symptoms and testing. Meanwhile, you could ovulate over the next week, so don't stop having sex! Hopefully you have a regular cycle after the pill and everything works out for you!

I'm the same - I stopped BCP on the 8th of Feb and I thought I was having symptoms a couple of weeks ago - unfortunately, BCP can give you withdrawal symptoms that are like being PG!
I had W/D bleed but no proper AF yet ..... don't even know when/if I O'd this month!
Good luck though - let me know if you do find out anything, it's nice knowing someone in the same boat

I feel your pain and just posted similar! I came of bc during my last af on the 4/2, still waiting for my next period! Very frustrating! I hope u get some answers soon!

im in same boat as u hun.. came off pill same day as u, had a bleed on saturday which then turned to a browny coloured spotting for sunday and monday! i have also been having cramps, yesterday i spent the whole day nearly vomiting from smells and eating for some odd reason =/ i was like this when i was pg with first child but i know its too early to be pg or even have symptoms lol i have never known when iv ovulated so waiting for proper AF to come which would have been due 5th / 6th & start trying to figure out when i ovulate then.. xx
