How long after IB can you get a BFP?

I apologize to the ladies in another thread who had to read this as a reply to one of their posts... but I thought I might get more answers if I started it as a new thread. If ANYONE has experienced it or have any thoughts, please help me from going insane Here's my current situation.

AF was officially due for me TODAY. Yesterday and this morning I have woken up to light pink when I wipe first thing in the morning. Then just the tiniest bit of brown spotting during the day. In my last pregnancy, this is EXACTLY what happened so I am INSANELY hopeful If AF comes on in the next few days, I will be crushed for sure

I did take my FIRST hpt tonight.... I am SO proud of myself for WAITING until AF came due... but it was a I have convinced myself that its because 1) I did it in the afternoon after only holding my wee for 3 hours and drinking lots of water and 2) If I am getting IB bleeding now... doesn't that mean it will take another few days for it to show up as a ????

Have any of you experienced this????

Thanks ladies Hope you are doing well!!!

As I have been OBSESSIVELY checking the internet and older posts... I am learning that digi's might be less sensitive? I bought a First Response pack that had a pink dye/two line test AND a digital test in it. I figure "go big or go home" and went STRAIGHT for the digital!!

Maybe I should use FMU tomorrow with the First Response pink dye tests?? Or should I wait an extra day and do it Saturday morning (today is Thursday).

Let the obsession continue...

Thanks Ladies!!!! Baby dust to us all!!!

Use thw dye test instead of digis, digis read the test in a very differant way so are alot less sensative and are better used as confirmation or after a few weeks late rather then actualy testing I learnt thar the very expensive way.
I got my bfp about 2/3 days after ib but it can be up to 10 days, I got a very early bfp at 7dpo which isnt common.
Id say wait to see what happens tommoro and if af doesnt show up then test eith a dye test first thing saturfay morning.
Good luck

Thanks Smokey, I only have one test left... so, I will save it for Saturday morning. Ugh, not looking forward to getting through tomorrow!! But I will at least keep my spirits up if it stays "brown spotting" and not AF!!!

Hey Smokey, I guess I have patience because I get really depressed when I get BFNs. My daughter was conceived *relatively* easily on the third month of us trying after being on BCP for 10 years.

So, now with this second child, I am moving onto my 5th cycle trying. I have done a lot of research on trying to figure out when I ovulate etc and my husband and I BD every other day throughout the whole cycle. I feel incredibly blessed for the daughter I have.... but it doesn't make the sting of not being able to get pregnant hurt any less.

I woke up this morning to full blown AF. Which is hard for me because the spotting was EXACTLY like the IB I had before.

Thanks for listening If I didn't have this post to get my thoughts out, I don't know what I would do!!!

IT WASN'T FULL BLOWN AF!!!

I just got my

I had some bleeding when I woke up... seemed pretty heavy when I wiped... but then when I checked at noon there was nothing!!! That was yesterday morning. Tonight I realized I didn't have any more bleeding today, so I JUST took a test. Held my urine for 3 hours, and tested. It was faint, but it was there!!!!!

I'm still in shock. It just goes to show, everyone is different!!!
