4 days late and a neg result

ok so im new and dont know all the abrevs your using.

i ovulated 5 days before my currently late period...

i am now 4 nearly 5 days late

every test including first response is negative

am i pregnant? i want to be !

my periods are never ever late

has this every happened to anyone else

i feel so emotional and sad and my boobs feel a little odd, im getting a feeling in my womb area which is un usual (not period like)

i wish i would get a positive result or just come on im sick of being teased its cruel :O(

Im no expert but my advice would be to Test, test, test until BFP or the witch arrives! Seems like a pretty good sign that she's never been late before so keep positive and fingers crossed!! Good luck!

Yep, I'm in the same boat Aimee and know how frustrating it is. I'm 13 dpo and I'm officially late (I have a 23 day cycle). I feel preggo, but no solid second line, only 2 faint dollar store ones. FR have been negative so far. I don't have my typical AF is on the way type of symptoms either.

sorry whats AF and FR?

i feel pregnant, my boobs hurt and there is deffinatly something going on down there that doesnt seem period related.

i feel sick :O( i really hope i am, but i hate this waiting i either want a positive or a period then at least i know where i stand.

thank you for all your support i am glad im not the only one going through this, i have felt alone. My husbad is wonderful but i cant always talk to him about the nitty gritty.

i am feeling emotional too, i have no idea what pregnancy feels like.

I do feel different though xx

I'm confused....you ovulated 5 days before your expected period? So you're 9 dpo?

if that is what that means then yes im 9 dpo?

i ovulated really late in the month, i confirmed it by temprature and by strips plus i had ovulation pains.

Hi hun, I know excatly hw you feel. My guess for the neg. test is that it may be to early to detect due to late Ov. I'm currently goin through something similar,lol idk if I'm currently 19dpo,20dpo,or 10dpo...DPO means Days Past Ovulation.

If you only O'd 5 days ago then your not officially "late", my understanding is that you can have a late O but not a late AF as AF is always 14DPO (apparently!). So, although you're not late you are def still in with a chance! I would test in a few more days! I am currently 5 days "properly" late with no AF symptoms and a ton of pg symptoms but HPT's still showing BFN

so I'm not sure if I O'd later than I thought or whether AF is just trying to mess with my head and I am just imagining the symptoms! There is always hope until AF arrives so I guess I'm not completely out, but I'm not holdin my breath... Good luck to you!
