Alternative to Mothers Day - Raising Awareness about Infertility
Hello my lovelies, I am sure that the UK Mother's Day is just as tough on all of you struggling TTC as it is for me. To try and raise awareness of all us in the exclusive gang nobody wants to be part of I have come up with a facebook status regarding Mother's Day. Please feel free to share this on your walls or alter it in any way you would like;
For all of you celebrating Mother's Day this year - Hold your children close and never forget just how blessed you are. Spare a thought for those not quite as lucky as you, for those that have loved and lost and those that are struggling to start their family. Infertility affects 1 in 8 couples and yet is still thought of as taboo - Please help to raise awareness by placing this as your status if you know somebody that is still trying to realise that dream of a family.
For those that aren't overly keen on the whole 'please place this as your status' there is also;
Happy Mothers' Day to all the mums out there - hold your children close and never forget just how blessed you are. Spare a thought for those not quite as lucky as you, for those that have loved and lost and those that are struggling to start their family. Infertility affects 1 in 8 couples and yet is still thought of as taboo - This post is for all those out there who are still trying to realise that dream
Just a little something to proclaim that just because we aren't yet blessed with children, we are here and we do still count! For those of you that are ttc your second, third, fourth etc please feel free to post to help raise awareness of us all
