Clomid cycle length ?

This was my first month on Clomid (50 mg CD5-9). It made me ovulate at CD18 instead of normally at CD12. I know that is normal from being on Clomid, but I didnt know if that would extend my cycle?

Anyone have extended cycle or cycle remain same with later O on Clomid? I am normal 27 day cycle (like clockwork), so should get AF on Tues. I am technically only 7 dpo, so I am wondering if AF will be 5-6 days later than usual.

Not liking Clomid too much. I was fine when I was on the actual medication, but bloating before O and extremely sore nipples have hung around. Also, really tired. So frustrating that you get actual pregger symptoms on Clomid ... as if the 2WW wasnt frustrating enough ...

Hi there.. I didn't want to read and run. I too finished my first round of clomid last week. I was taking 50mg days 3-7. The past few months I ovulated around day 16 so I am still waitingnto hit my surge. My cm usually helps me know when ovulation is approaching but clomid has dried me out like a Mofo so all I can reply on are the opk's.

I have used clomid 5 times and yes it did lengthen my cycle. I was always 28-29 days and it lengthened it to 33 days as it made me O later. It was somewhat frustrating the first month because I was late and thought maybe it had worked.

I actually found that clomid shortened my cycles, but maybe that's bc I never oved before cd 20 on my own, and most times not at all. I did notice that the clomid legthened my lp from 11 to 13 days though.

I normally have a short 26 day cycle but this month while taking Clomid for the first time I did not O until day 17. I have not finished this cycle yet so I do not know how long it will be but I assume it is extended since I O'd later than usual.

I took clomid 100mg on days 5-9 and I'm on CD 30 and still no O. I'm super frustrated. I've been OPK'ing 2-3 times daily. Sometimes I see a faint line sometimes no line. What's the latest anyone's o'd on clomid and when should I start provera so I can try all over again. I'm desperate.

Clomid 50mg and 100mg didn't work for me, but when I was on 150mg I had a 29 day cycle. Clomid did give me a lot of extra symptoms. It was all worth it though, because I conceived on my fifth round of clomid. It can be frustrating, but try to hang in there! Fingers crossed for your BFP.

Thanks ladies. At CD28 today and 10 DPO, on a normal cycle I would have my AF today. Assuming it will come in about 4 days or so ... no pregnancy symptoms now, but no symptoms of AF ... just trying to relax and wait it out.

My BBT is still high and should get my progesterone results today.
