Hi girls. I'm a healthy eater and I've been stalking this thread. Just wanted to add a tip regarding chocolate. I keep a large bar of the dark stuff - 70-85% in my fridge and I eat a couple squares a day. Keeps me from feeling deprived. When it's the dark bitter stuff you won't feel the urge to down the whole thing in one go (I totally would if it was milk chocolate).

In general, my philosophy is to not eliminate anything even fat or bread etc. The only thing I limit big time is stuff that's processed. So if you read the label and it has a million things in it and I can't pronounce any of it - I won't have it.
I exercise quite moderately but consistantly. I have a dog that needs a lot of walking so I walk min an hour a day, my bike is my main transportation (when it's not winter) and I do yoga, occasionally jog very leisurely, and occasionally swim.

Works for me. I've been off the wagon a bit - letting the DH order pizza and drinking a bit too much when I go out. Been making a big effort the past week to get back to normal.

hi pink peony

i agree about the 70%+ chocolate! i have some in the fridge too, it has been there for over a week now and i still have plenty left because i'm savouring the few squares. really makes you think about all the additives and flavouring in 'normal' chocolate that make it so addictive! also agree with you about processed food - the only thing i eat tinned in chopped tomatoes everything in our house is cooked from scratch and it's so much yummier

I've had a few crappy things today, but I aiming to introduce as much healthy food as possible at not guilt trip about when I don't keep the rules, any change will be positive, at least now I am eating more fruit and veg. Hopefully I will get better and better at it (I hate black chocolate yuk )

But I had my oatmilk will calcium and my organic muesli for breakfast, an apple, and some brown bread with olive oil and tomatoes, some chicken and potatoes and lunch, and then I had some chips and ice-cream when I was out, but I plan to end the day with some pumpkin soup and something else that feels healthy. I am not having any frozen food! I bought some organic chocolates today too They look good on the box, lets see what they taste like!

you've done great today calm! i myself adopt the 80/20 rule. eat clean 80% of the time and i don't feel guilty for the other 20% of "junk" i may eat. i had some frozen yogurt at cherry berry yesterday, but ate well the rest of the day.

I made some lentil soup, which is something I use to make a lot before, and stopped having it because I thought it was giving me gas. I love it! I am eating a lot healthier, so happy about it at the moment. On the other hand my mum has been giving me stick because she thinks I am going to do an extreme diet and lose lots of weight again Oh well, I am trying to be balanced and not be extreme, but I will watch the scales and make sure I don't drop. How are the rest of you going? I am entering that twilight zone which is my fertile period doodooodoodooo XXXX

Hello there everyone! I continue with my healthy eating! I am really excited because I am nearly nearly due my LH surge, and DH will be home tomorrow morning, and I have read an article that says Thursday morning is the best moment to BD, as men have their levels of testosterone the highest of the whole week. I am also awaiting another book on diet and TTC, so I will share when I read it. A couple of "tips"

Diet related: If you do eat dairy products, the Fertility Diet says to eat full fat. Apparently this has led to the BFP of many women. (My own tip: if you have anxiety issues have full fat too, the other kind aggravates it for some reason too).

BD related: Foreplay is supposed to increase the sperm count. (When you are BDing so much its so easy to just get down to action, but its suppose to pay to play )

everyone!!!

the process of making things 'diet' takes a lot of the nutrients out of the food i think, i did read something about it...i'll try and find a link so it's a lot better for you to eat/drink the full fat versions in moderation like you said

have you seen the great sperm race? it says in that that if the man is really aroused it can increase the sperm load by 50%

AFM, i have been off dairy (including eggs) for 4 weeks on thursday! i haven't been eating meat either but that's easy because i don't really like it i felt AMAZING last week and feel amazing this week too so far but i'm not sure if it's anything to do with my diet or whether i'm just in a good mood i have been eating organic fruit and vegetables and plenty of pulses every day. for lunch today i had home made carrot and coriander soup and for dinner i made butternut squash with spinach and red bean sauce i also made an aubergine puree but it's for snacking on through the week.

i have my first appointment with the gynaecologist a week on wednesday!

a small negative note is that i have been spotting for over a week now! i'm too exciting about my appointment next week to care though
