I have so many December birthdays in my family, I have often given everyone a hard time and told them to stop having December babies cause I can't afford it...That being said we have been ttc going on a year now and my 35th b-day fast approaches. Decided not to skip any months as I have one blocked tube. Im trying every month possible to get my BFP. Would serve me right to have a December baby after so much complaining on my part! I would never hear the end of it!

My birthday is on the 16th November...
His birthday is on the 17th November...
Our wedding anniversary is on the 12th December...
... and then Christmas!

Apart from having nothing else to celebrate during the rest of the year, the 6 weeks leading up to Christmas would get even MORE expensive! :P
Lkpone what bcp were you on? I ask because i quit bcp on feb 14th and af was due last friday and nothing and am worried that it could take some time for my cycles to get back to normal again.

mel you can see from my cycles in my sig below I have been off for almost 8 months and still am not normal, although I will say for me I never had normal cycles in my life aside from being on bcp so I suspect something may be wrong. I think most people are normal within 6 months of stopping bcp but I hear it can take up to a year.

I can so relate this this! Maybe a christmas time baby would be so bad after all! But with my daughter who's bday is also in december it was far enough in advance.we had to make sure we stopped everywhere so everyone could see her. It was exhausting.

You're not upsetting anyone! I just wanted to see peoples thoughts and opinions on the situation. I completely understand trying every month esp after trying for so long. The thought had started crossing my mind when I hear my daughter complain about her birthday being in the winter and I sort of feel bad for her. Although I must say she would love to have another person in the family with a winter birthday.. that's partly why it bothers her so much because everyone else is spring/summer birthdays. We just were expecting to get pregnant easier due to my last two happening right away and isn't turning out to be case anymore.

Yeah I mean the more DH and I talk about it and realize this could take longer then expected and the fact that neither of us want to wait to try we will probably end up trying again this 3rd cycle. I just wondered sometimes if I was being a little selfish if we were to go for it and I don't want my child to not enjoy their birthday.
