At least December-babies are forever-young. They will start school earlier.

Me and my hubby were aiming for our first baby to be born late this year.. we thought it would be easy to target that. We started TTC in November last year.

It's 4 cycles later.. clearly, we are in no position to be picky about this! My fingers are still crossed for this cycle!

Would be wonderful for us because christmas is one of the few times we go home to see family. So we'd love to be able to celebrate a bday with family and christmas. my ds's bday is in feb so he gets to see his grandparents whereas dds is in july so we go home for the summer and celebrate 4th of july and her bday is 5th of july.

We have decided that we are going to try anyway and whatever happens, happens.
A wedding is also a conflict for us if we end up getting pushed back to any time around april.

Is there ever really a good time to get pregnant where its not going to interfere with something?
I spoke to my friend who's wedding it is, and she said:

"Your baby is more important than my wedding, than Christmas and any other occassion. There will always be a reason not to try for a baby, and if you went by that method you'd never try. So get sh*gging!"

Yep those were her beautiful words!! lol x

My daughters birthday is 21st December. We didn't want a December birthday as all of my family is born in December! but had been trying for 2 years, so were just estatic we'd got a baby. We don't put up the decorations until her birthday has been. And we make sure its her day. Now we are TTC#2 and if we got lucky this month, it would be approx 21st December due date... But we are forging ahead, can't afford to be picky. If it wouldn't work for you, there is nothing wrong with having a month off trying. In fact, sometimes i think a month off is a good thing

I think we've decided to go for it but now we have another concern.. I just started a round of very strong antibiotics that warn against taking them while pregnant because they may form abnormalities and I know im not pregnant but now I wonder if they effect my eggs as well or does nothing really effect them. I know I should ask the doctor but I didn't think of it till just now... hmmm...

Around here december babies are on the older side in school. The cut off for each school year is the end of august so me being born in july I was one of the very youngest and my brother being born in September was one of the very oldest. That's also puts my december daughter on the older side in her grade.
