Metformin question

Ive been on metformin 1000mg a day for 2 months now. My question is does metformin mess with you bbt? My pre-o temps have been high and erratic and I dont know why!

Hi, It's been a while since I been on Metformin but I don't remember it messing with my bbt.

Im on 1500mgs of Glucophage xr (name brand for metformin) and It hasnt bothered my BBT.

My BBT has been a lot less erratic since starting Metformin. It's a roller coaster pattern but my temps the first half of my cycle are definitely lower than the second half. I'm so frustrated because my temps have been on the high side for 19 days now and still no BFP or AF! I'm calling my doc Monday to ask what's going on.

I found that my body regulated itself after starting Metformin 2.5 years ago, and that my BBTs are actually less erratic. HTH
