Hope i'm posting this in the right place! I'm new to this...

We have been using a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor, as we've been trying for 2 years!

My last 'proper' period was on February 2nd and I ovulated on the 18th.

I then had a period/bleed(?) on March 2nd (bang on my 'normal' 30 day cycle) that lasted less than a day (unusual for me). I didn't really think and assumed that meant I wasn't pregnant.

Anyway, following lots of signals.... we did a test last Sunday at 2pm that was positive!!!!! YaY! I re-tested the next morning (first pee) and positive again. Double YaY! Both times i used Clear Blue digi test that clearly said 'pregnant 1-2'.

Given that we've been using the monitor, I know that I haven't ovulated since Feb 18th. One of the signals that made us test.

BUT NOW I'M CONFUSED!

Saw my Doc on the Monday at 4pm. He did a test that was negative. He says that the test that I used was far more sensitive than they ones they use and i'm obviously very early and have to go back in 2 weeks for him to test again.

SO, I did another Clear Blue Digi the next day at 2pm... NOT pregnant. The same agin the next morning (first pee).... NOT pregnant again. URGH!

Am I pregnant or not? Worried it might have been a chemical pregnancy and we were unlucky enough to catch the hormones still in me BUT right at the end.

All week i have been having period pains across my front and back. They come and go but mainly come. I don't want to get over excited and these pains are certainly NOT in my head. They are very real. I've also been very tired and off my food with my taste buds shot to bits.

It's just the wait.... Don't want to home test again. Too scared of the results i guess. Hoping if I wait my levels will have risen.

Unfortunately, it may have been a chemical pregnancy - they happen often but only people who are SERIOUSLY TTC notice because you are testing much earlier than you would if you hadn't been actively trying. FX this isn't the case and at your appointment in 2 weeks the doctor gives you your BFP! Lots of prayers and baby dust your way!

sorry to jump on your post but similar sort of thing for me today. i have done a total of five different tests over the last two days. three of them were 10miu which were positvie with a faint line. one yesterday was a supermarket brand and that was a positive with a faintish ( not really faint) line and this morning done a clear blue digital test which said PREGNANT 2-3 weeks. All great i thought but doc done a test with a 25miu test and it was negative. totally confused and disheartened. been ttc for 4 years and this was a bit unexpected so really praying it turns out ok. what does everyone think?? xx

10miu is more sensitive and will pick up earlier than 25miu tests steph so i think your early pregnant! it means u only have to have 10M OF HCG IN your blood but doc tests wont pick it up til it gets to 25 so that could take a few days to build up

yeah i realise that but the clearblue and supermarket were both 25miu same as docs. could it be that docs test are just cheap ones?? im sending a sample to their lab tomorrow but wont get answer til friday which means two more sleepless nites. am i clutching at straws or do u think doc cheap tests could be the prob. 5 bfp's seem a good sign. xx

possibly the docs were cheap ones or maybe they were even out of date since most docs would use a blood test instead? if i were u i would go to supermarket and buy one of every brand haha

I am having the same problem. My husband and I suffered an ectopic m/c in march and to my shock i ovd on my own 11 days later, and 3 weeks to the day had a bfp, and i know it wasnt related to my m/c because my levels were checked at my 2week doc appt and i was barely 3 weeks when i had surgery.

I have taken nearly 20 early pregnancy tests and they are all faint positives, but my doc said that my blood test was negative. only a 2. but when they did the blood test i was maybe 7 days past I.b. I am really wondering if we have been given a second chance, or if i am going to lose another baby. Last time my levels were at 3, and it stills showed up bfp but this time around my doc is insisting that it isnt possible. Im so confused. I havent gotten af yet either...
