Took a cheap home test (2for €1.50) in the pound shop and got 2negitves on wednesday
Then thurs got one in the chemist (accurate brand) and got positive (one line faint but still visible)
Then yesterday got a first response and it was alot clearer positive :-)
But today I got some more cheap tests and they still say negative ?????
I'm so confussed! Has this ever happened anyone with cheapy tests
Should I go with was the dearer brands are saying??? If so I worked out

I would trust the FRER over the IC tests. I know the only reason I don't buy 20 FRERS is because they are too dang expensive. I use ICs and sometimes they are less sensitive. I've read a lot of stores about ladies who got negatives on ICs even after they got + on FRER or another test like that. If I were you, I'd try a digital HPT. That way you don't have to interpret it. It will say pregnant or not pregnant but I'd use that in the morning as you don't want to waste a test.

Hopefully it is your BFP!

Thanks for your reply I done exactly that went straight to boots and got a clearblue digital with conception indicator and I'm very happy to say I got my BFP "pregnant 1-2wks" now by the date of my last af I'm 5wks so do u reckon I go by my dates rather then the test date? Also considering it's not my first wee in the morning I'm peeing on wands all day :-) and I red on the leaflet for the conception indicator use first wee in morning!

Congrats!!!!

When your Dr calculates it, they will go by the date of your last AF so I'd go by that. 1-2 weeks just means that you are 3-4 weeks but since you have been using HPTs all day, your urine probably wasn't concentrated enough to give you a 3+.
