EWCM or semen? (TMI)

This has probably been asked before but I don't know how to tell the difference! DB and I BD'd last night around 10:30pm. It's now almost 2pm the next day and I went to the bathroom and a huge glob of what looked like EWCM was on the TP when I wiped and was super stretchy. Could this be semen from last night or was it actually EWCM?? I m/c on the 2nd of March so my cycle isn't a normal one and the last couple of days I didn't have a lot of CM and what I did have seemed a mix of creamy and watery. I usually have a lot more watery CM before I get EWCM. Thanks in advanced!

This always confuses me too, esp since if you're bding at your fertile time there's a chance you'll be having both. Lol!
I have read, however, that if it stretches it's EWCM. Semen won't stretch.

Sounds like you've got some good timing!!

The difference is that sperm dries quickly on the fingers, it is easy to stretch apart. Cervical mucus is rather clear, denser and more flexible.

I decided since I'm at work and because I work in a lab and have access to a microscope, I thought I would look at it

So it's definitely not spermy but now it's got me thinking I have hostile CM cuz it has lots of white cells in it. Plus it was thick too, not thin

Not good. I read after seeing it that it can be caused by having too much vitamin C which I take a lot of (I also read too much can cause miscarriage - wish I knew that before. I just hope all that vitamin C I took didn't cause my miscarriage

) I also decided to look at my saliva too, and although I've never done that before it definately looks like its ferning

apparently if you wipe with tissue and it dries quickly it's semen, if it just stays there it's CM.
