So had first doctors appointment

We have been ttc for a year now so thought I would go and see my gp. She wants oh to do an SA and I have to have a blood test on cd 21 and then another on cd5 of the next cycle. I think this is to check my progesterone levels my question is what results should I be looking for what results will mean in ok and ovulating? I know this is the best place to ask this as you are all so helpful.
Thanks ladies x

Hi, that's great she is doing something proactive to help you.

Not sure of the exact levels for progesterone. Do you know if you ovulate now?

Hi bextas. I had my day21 bloods taken last month and it was 5.1 which is low. My gp said they like to see levels of 15+ on the progesterone test. I ovulate on my own but I guess its not strong enough of an ovulation, so my doc gave me clomid 50mg to help with that (first cycle trying clomid and currently in the tww now). Hopefully your results will all be OK!

As far as the SA levels, I have no clue on those so i wont be as much help, lol. DH hasnt needed to do one...yet! Hopefully it wont come to that as I did get pregnant last summer, but sadly ended in a m/c. so i think the problem is me
