Interesting info ladies! I do find that if I look for signs of ovulation I am constantly telling myself they must be pregnancy signs so it's a bit like a vicious circle!

The Dr said that some women don't get + OPKs due to low hormones in your urine and that's very frustrating but he did say that the longer you chart the clearer you'll be on what's going on and how to catch a "good" month.

Problem is I want to know NOW! lol

Interesting info about the insomnia, thanks! I have such awful trouble sleeping (work, hormones etc...) and I've never though that may have something to do with it!

Leafy: I think you should ask for the 21 day test to be re-done by your specialist. My first one of those was taken by my normal doctor who didn't do it on day 21 as at the time my cycles were all over the place and we had no idea where about in it I was what with spotting/light bleeds then heavy ones. Mine were repeated by my specialist. I also think they genreally put you on clomid once you reach the year mark with unexplained infertility.

Roccoboxr: Thanks for that info it was really interesting after my early loss in Oct my cycles settled into 28 days so I thought I must be ovulating even though I never got a +opk. However last cycle af was 5 days late and only lasted 2 days so i'm unsure if I should count that as af or breakthrough bleed? I did count it as af though and my cbfm says I have high fertility (day 12) but I was high ALL last month so maybe I gear up to O but don't ? Hopefully charting will give me some answers

CocoMia: fingers crossed I'm one of the women your doc talked about who O but just don't have enough in urine for it to show up.

Hope we all get our BFP's very soon

Hi ladies. I just found out this past month that my ovulations are not "strong" each month. I fell pregnant last summer which sadly ended in a mc. We figured if I got preg once, we can do it again. Well it's been 7 months and still nothing.

I had an ultrasound done last month along with day21 bloodwork and the results showed 5.1. Anything over 5 indicates ovulation. 10 and above is what docs like to see unmedicated, 15 and better if your medicated.

My doc gave me clomid 50mg to take this month, which I did and had no side effects, thank god. He ordered day21 bloodwork again to see if clomid helped. It did!!!! Brought my progesterone level to 19 which he thought was great!

If clomid is your option, go for it as I have read it helps lots of women. I am currently in the tww and I test at the end of this week. Hopefully I get that bfp GL to you!!!

Hi Hope

Wow well I really hope the clomid has worked for you this month....fx'd for you so do keep us posted. Thanks for the numbers on your bloodwork too that helps as I intend to ask about mine next time i'm at the docs.

I've actually just taken an opk and it's definately positive (test line is even stronger than control line) this has never happened in almost a year of trying so I'm over the moon. My fertiliy monitor just say's high though like it has been doing for the last few days...I'm wondering if it's broke. I'm going witht he opk anyway...never seen such a dark line let's hope a nice dark line like that again in a couple of weeks

Update us on your testing hope would love to know

Hi Gemlou78!
I'm excited for you! I got a first-ever +OPK today as well, so we're in the same boat! Wishing you a sooooooon!

I've been charting for about 3 yrs now and I get an anovulatory every 3-4 cycles. When it happens, there is obviously no peak in temps, no cramps in the second half of the cycle, bleeding is light and with no pain (normally AF kills me the first 2 days), CM doesn't turn creamy (it kind of disappears), BBs don't get sore on the sides (they do in my PMS time!) and that's about it. I'd define it more by symptoms that don't happen, haha! I don't remember sore nipples in anovulatory, but I quess everyone is different! Hope that helps

@Vanilla_Choc

That's really interesting! I think I'm the same actually, I do notice that I get less symptoms without O and absolute no pain which is a relief but not if you want a + !!

It seems to be more common than I realised and as my own Mum was sporadically O'ing and managed to conceive me then got PG again only a little while after I feel better about it.

Vanilla_choc That's fantastic so we will be testing the same time in a couple of weeks I had another +opk today (still only high on monitor) seems i'm having a long surge.

Thanks for the info on your annovulatory cycles...I don't cramp when it happens either but my breasts look like you would expect if pregnant very swollen.

I just wish they would hurry up and fix me already!! It's so depressing going through this..it will be a year in May it's driving me crazy now

I wish you all lot's and lot's of baby dust

No clomid so far. Waiting for referral to the OBGYN an hour away who has the power to prescribe the clomid. lol

I did try soy isoflavones...with no luck. Annovulatory cycle.

Updates and ideas

Hello all,
Hope everyone is Ok! Have any of the ladies had any stirrings of O since the Clomid?

I've now been booked in for US and have had bloods done so will welcome your help when I get the results to see if I'm "normal"

My Dr has a wait of 3 weeks before she will explain the results (torture!)

I had got frustrated with taking my temp because there just didn't seem to be any kind of pattern but I think if that's a natural and accurate way to do it i'll give it another go!

How is everyone? x

Hi hun, I'm Ok thanks. I've had what look to me like positive OPK's yesterday and today . I've stopped using the clear blue fertility monitor as it has never given me a peak only highs over the 3 months of using it. I'm hoping my temps go up tomorrow to show I have actually O'd. Fx'd

I feel for you having to wait 3 weeks but at least hopefully you will get some well needed answers at the end of your wait! Keep us posted on how you go
