Could having one tube affect LH levels?!?!?!

I lost my right tube due to an ectopic in January and are ttc again. I am trying to figure out if having only one tube can/will affect LH during ovulation? I still have both ovaries. I started using strips last cycle and the positive lines for ovulation were both really faint, compared to what I am seeing this month. It may be because they are older and faded now but it makes me wonder if I can tell which side I will be ovulating from based on the boldness of the positive lines? I wish I knew if there was a way to tell if I was ovulating on my left side so I'll know if I can get pregnant! Ughhh

Also, with only one tube and both ovaries, does that "its like a kidney and makes up for the other" rule apply when you have one tube...not one ovary? I really just need to talk to a doctor!

My RE told me last week that sometimes the 1 tube will catch the eggy from the other side.
