Just Crushed...

A few weeks ago after I phoned my doctor and told her about all the symptoms and how my last "period" wasn't normal because it was super short and super light and only pinkish brown. I told her about getting sick and dizzy and everything else. She told me that it sounds like it could really be that I'm pregnant, but that she wanted me to wait to see if my next period shows....

And now after a month of Hoping, Dreaming, and Wishing.... AF shows her ugly head this morning 2 weeks early. I'm completely crushed..

I spent a whole hour in the shower bawling (I live with my ex/roomate and he doesn't know what goes on between me and OH)

Maybe its for the better right now, since I'm living with my ex and OH just quit his job... but it doesn't make it hurt any less... I just feel so crushed, my biggest dream in life is to be a wife and mother. Ever since I was diagnosed with PCOS and told by one doc that I wouldnt ever have kids, it just seems like my dream of becoming a mother will never happen.

Thanks for reading my vent, I just feel so down, and numb. All I wanna do is curl up and bawl

I don't have too much advice to give, but wanted to send you some positive vibes and

I am also dealing with PCOS- doctor has put me on Metformin and in the past 9 months my cycle has really regulated itself. Have you discussed any plans or medications for your PCOS with your doctors? I know sometimes it seems hopeless, but hang in there! Lots of ladies with PCOS get pregnant, and we will do the same

On another note, I must say I'm curious about your situation, living with your husband and your ex?? That sounds scary ! lol.

Ive been on Metforman for year this month. and so far it hasnt really helped my cycles except for the fact that I actually have a period every month where as before I only had one every about 3 to 4 months.

And I'm not married (yet) I was with my ex for 5 years, not the healthiest of relationships. I broke it off last May and Started dating my OH. Were both out of work right now due to his last boss cutting his hours way back, but hes going in for an interveiw monday. But I still live with my ex, doing the roomate thing till my OH and I can get a place of our own since he still lives with his father. OH wants to get married, but says he wants to do it right, lol. He says he wants to go through the whole engagement thing, and planning a wedding, and wants me to have my dream wedding. (I kinda have a feeling that hes got something *big* planned for our anniversary next month) So yeah my situation is pretty screwy at the moment..

You really give me hope. I myself am a little overweight but have lost 30-40lbs in the last year while on Metformin. My doc wont give me clomid until OH and I have been "trying" for at least a year. She said that my PCOS isn't too bad, and that I should be able to concieve quickly, but so far that hasnt happend.

OH and I have sex 3-5 times a week. And metformin has been a life saver, If you can talk to your doc about it it will really help with the weight loss. kind of a slow process, but def helps, it changes the way your body uses sugars. Good luck on the weight loss, You can do it :-)
