I don't have experience of pcos so could be wrong, but don't they tend to have very long cycles, and trouble o'ing? And I think the hair thing is excessive not fast growing, esp facial hair?

mellywelly if you go on NHS website they give you list of symptoms, it also states that you dont need to have all of them to have PCOS and they can vary from mild to severe. my friends sister in law only has one and that is she has long cycles. my hair does grow fast and i do have alot more hair than most women.

Lol I did say im no expert. It just sounds like you have regular short cycles, and just about every pcos post I've seen, the posters have had long irregular ones. If you are worried, you should see your gp for testing.

Your welcome. Sorry I couldn't offer more advice but that's all I did if I'm honest. I just wanted to share that just because u r diagnosed with pcos it doesn't mean u can't conceive. And if u did need help there's plenty of options. Xx

Aww thanks again im glad that you managed to! You just feel so useless not being able to do much to help! The Drs havent given me anything yet! My hubbys getting a SA though next week just to make sure he is okay but im sure that he will be fine! I was told that it might be harder and take longer but its not impossible it just feels like forever! I just hope that im ovulating and its nothing serious! The hardest part is my cycles being so long and irregular im on CD45 today and still no show! Plus the acne really knocks your confidence!

Do you do ovulation tests? I have been the last two months just so I can be sure I'm ovulating. Maybe go back to your dr and if u don't think ur ovulating they will give u something to regulate you. Sometimes the stress alone can make ttc worse. It took me 9 months to fall pg with dd and even tho that doesn't sound long the frustration was really getting to me in the end I took a more relaxed approach and that month I fell pregnant. Then when we wanted to try for number 2 we knew it could take a while but I fell pg the same month! Now we are tryin for num 3 and this is my second cycle. So you just don't know when it will happen but one thing I do know for sure is never say never! Never give up hope. If you really are worried then def go see ur dr and see what they can do to help. I don't suffer with achne but my hair grows really fast. Like leg hair etc I'm forever shaving! Even waxing didn't help! Lol are you on tablets for your achne? Xx

Nothing I can say to make everything okay for you/give perfect answers but I didn't want to read and run, a friend of mine has PCOS and it hasn't caused diddly squat with concieving, she had two boys now, one born a few weeks ago. Sometimes reading online is helpful and informative and sometimes it can scare the heck out of you. Don't get tied up with it .xxx

I have PCOS, got the extra hair and weight
I had regular cycles and for 3 yrs we NTNP with a few months here and there of TTC'ng and then not because of my work.
Then 3 months of determined TTC'ng and OPK'S and I fell pregnant with Dylan.
Now we're at it again

Kay's right, lots of well timed
