Ovulation Pain

Can anyone describe what ovulation pain is like? I've been having what feels like a strained muscle mainly right over my left hip bone, but some on the right too (definitely worse on the left). It's more painful when I walk/ move. Could it be ovulation pain or just some kind of muscle pain?

that could be ovulation pain...for me ovulation pain feel like period cramps sometimes a little sharper and in my ovary area..

I get a heavy bloated feeling along with soreness in the whole pelvic area , it hurts to move. I notice it more on months that were actively trying and its worse on fertility meds.

It's pretty bad this month, so hoping that's a good sign (and since I have it at least somewhat on both sides maybe two eggs

). (We would love twins, especially boy/ girl set.) Do you ovulate when you have the pain or a day or two later? I'll see DH tonight and for the next 3 days, so hopefully timing will be good.

I notice the pain sometimes the day of the positive OPK and sometimes not till the next day. and sometimes its both days, on my clomid cycles it was so bad it lasted 2-3 days around ovulation. now I am on natural cycles.

Are you charting or using OPKs to confirm your ovulation?.

I've been using OPK, but not often enough probably. I had a faint line yesterday. I'll try to test when I get to Atlantic City tonight, but normally have a much darker line the second day, then faint again the third. I'm starting to get more CM now, so think it's probably about time.

i'm getting the pains just like AF but only lasts for about 10-30 seconds but its on BOTH of my ovaries. I am having watery and now ewcm, but i'm only on cd10 my cycles are usually 31 days. They have been irregular the past 3 or 4 cycles though... but still i think its too early for me to be ovulating.

u could but also..some women get watery/ewcm days to a week before ovulating

yeah, it could be. its just weird because since i've started tracking cm i only get it the week of ovulation. I guess it is good either way. At this point it just means i'm either producing great cm for the spermies or ovulating early. The only thing that throws me for a loop is the ovulation pain if that is what it is? Maybe its my body gearing up for ovulation?
