Almost Pos Opk Almost entire cycle?

Help! Why aren't I getting a true positive? CD 8/9 and 14/15 look darkest but not as dark as control line. This is my first time using ICs ( I always O on CD 15 - 17 without fail when I use drugstore tests - confirmed with symptoms). I was unable to temp this month. Is it me or the tests??

It could be either or. Maybe you're just going to ovulate late this month or it could be that you've gotten a faulty batch of OPKs. Have you been monitoring your CM? That would help indicate whether you have ovulated or not as well.

Thank you so much for your reply ladies! I started simultaneously testing with the drugstore brand opk CD 14 - 18 and I've posted that below. (CD 18 is not shown but was significantly lighter than 14 - 17). CD 15 and 16 my CP was HSO and has been low firm and closed ever since, but I did have a whole bunch of EWCM today all at once but now it's gone. I also had a little bit earlier this cycle on CD 12ish, the rest of the time it has been creamy or sticky, but never dry. Thank you again for your help!

Took your advice! I'm hoping that's what is going on. Maybe this brand just doesn't work as well for me. The last few months I used Equate opks I got blaring positives and it was a very nice progression and then the lines got lighter and continued to get lighter after O. Thanks again for all the advice! These boards are a lifesaver.

Maybe PCOS?

6. What if my OPK is positive almost all the time? The most common cause of constant positive or almost-positive OPK's is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS.) This disorder is usually characterized by elevated LH (hence the positive OPK's), and is common in women with very long and/or anovulatory cycles.

Don't self-diagnose, though! If you're worried (or just plain obsessed with your pee-sticks call your doct-- okay, okay, you know the drill

Thanks for the idea! I don't think it's pcos though because my periods are like clockwork. The lines have been staying the same on the IC but getting fainter and fainter on the Equate brand after an almost positive opk. I think I may have missed my positive with Equate? AF is due in 10 days, so I'll know for sure then! Thanks again so much for the advice!
