Think about something else

Hi ladies,

Quick post to advise that we had been trying to conceive since July with no luck, so we decided that once my next period arrived, I would go back onto the pill and get married instead. We had been in touch with wedding planners in Spain, seen venues in our hometown for a belated reception when we came back and booked flights to go to Spain to see a villa where we could get married. Everything was planned, just ready to book.

I had been due to go and look at wedding dresses with my mum on Easter Saturday. My witch was due on Good Friday.

He didnt arrive and im now pregnant!!

Its easier said than done I know, but try and switch off, relax and think about something else. Every month when we were actively trying, I would symptom spot, the two week wait in between was awful, i really struggled emotionally thats why we decided to focus on getting married and start trying again after then.

Good luck, it will happen, just switch off!!! xxxx

Congratulations I'm taking it easy this month too and trying not to think about it too much. Hoping that it will do the trick for me!

Good luck with the wedding planning!

Congrats! I don't think switching off makes a ounce of difference though - unless you are particularly stressed. Being stressed about ttc is bad, but being switched "ON" is generally better, because you are more likely to BD at the right time.

I completely agree! We were TTC for 8 months and decided to take a month off in December for Christmas (we were also moving house at this time so busy, busy!). Low and behold New Years Day we got a BFP!

Congrats on your pregnancy!
