Hi, I am trying soy for the first time this month. I have been ttc for 3 long years now and have had a few failed treatment cycles, I have not ovulated since I was probably 14, I am just about 21 now.
I have read alot of good things about soy and I think it is worth a try.
1. You should go to the doctor, If you are not ovulating it is a sign of pcos. Make an appointment to be seen by your doc. Most docs won't see you until after you have been ttc for at least one year, but since you know you are not ovulating, IMO it is ok to to fib to your doc and say that you have been ttc for a year. things probably won't get any better between now and then anyways. and it will help to get the show on the road.
2. Since you have not had an af for 7 months your lining may be to thick. If you have any refills left on your bc I suggest taking it for a month to bring on af. If not then you should still get a hold of your doc for progesterone in order to start af. I would do this before starting soy. I don't know if it will help any to do the soy in the middle of a cycle but i dont think it will hurt either.
3. Make sure you do your research on how and when to take soy.
I wish you the best of luck and I hope I helped.
