This is our second month of ttc number 2 and i have reallllllly long cycles! Which are also very irregular!! Last month i didnt ovulate until cd 37 and i was pretty much ready to give up! Especially, when i did ovulate, the

showed her face at 8dpo!

So this month i'm hoping and praying that i ovulate alot sooner?

Anyhow, i hope you dont mind me joining you all, its nice to follow people who are in the same boat as yourself!!

No testing yet, only 5dpo, FF has my O on Monday now. I think it will be once I hit 9dpo that I will start really having to fight the urge. Ideally would like to wait till next Monday,Tuesday, but think I would allow myself a Sunday test if I felt it was going to be a BFP.

That + can sneak up on us, so enjoy all the BDing azzy

Hi girls

Can anyone tell me do you count dpo from the first day you get a positive on opk or the last day you get a positve? I didnt take any further tests after I got 2consecutive days of positive. Bit confused

Hi Ladies hope I can join,
I am CD 10 I should O next Friday. Will start testing opk on Monday. This is cycle 7 and on board for a BFP also.
Babyl2be - I only been opk-ing 2 cycles but after positive opk's you will ovulate 24 -72 hours after your first positive. Are your temping too or checking cervical mucus. Only way you can be sure you have O is if temp rises above cover line for 3 days. Cervical mucus will go from watery or eggwhite to creamy. OPK also may be negative bit not 100% as sometimes residuel hormone on day of O. You can check my chart in my SIG below. I had 2 positive opk's and I o'd the day after the 2nd positive. So 1dpo was 4 days after my first positive OPK. I hope that helps.

I'm not that informed on TTC, now that you mention it I had very little cm and no increase since. I havent been taking temps yet I dont really know much about it will have to do a bit more research. I actuallty thought you'd ovulate 48hours after a positive opk at the latest

If it was up to 72hrs after hope we had enough

Ill have to wait and see might try temping next cycle if we weent lucky this one.

Hi babyl2be, appologies I am off with the fairies today. it is actually 12 and 48 hours after your your first positive.

I have put the opk info from fertility freind up. If you want to learn more about charting I suggest you sign up to FF it is free and they will send you daily emails on charting so you can learn day by day. I found this useful.

If you have had one positive you are surely about to ovulate 2nd positive may mean you have that day.
