Feeling a little down...

I had my first round of clomid this cycle and got a +OPK on CD 16... which is GREAT! (I had O pains the night of CD 16 and morning of CD 17) Pre clomid, my cycles were 50-100 days - so if I did infact ovulate, it was super early for me and I'm really excited. BUT --- DH broke his ankle a few days before the +OPK

So we only BD'd once in my fertile window. I feel terrible that he is hurt and sore... and I feel SO GUILTY for being sad that we are most likely out this month. I feel like such a bad wife. We only ditched condoms in July, so it hasn't been THAT LONG but, 9 months is still quite a while not to end up with a BFP. (we started REALLY trying, occasional OPK's, BD EOD etc... on November 1st after the laid back approach of "it will happen when it happens" wasn't cutting it. haha) Anyways... just having a bit of a pity party. Curious to see if AF comes around CD 30! I guess that in itself will be a pretty great accomplishment

awww its okay to feel like that and its alright if you only been trying for 9months that is a very long time. but your not alone i have been ttc for 1.5 years and am still waiting for my BFP. good luck to you hope you dont have to wait too much longer

Thanks hun! I feel so guilty complaining because so many other people have been trying for so much longer! (like yourself) I hope you get your BFP soon!!!!!

thank you and dont feel bad you deserve a BFP just as much as anyone else no matter how long we have been trying

I've been trying for the exact amount of time you have. We started TTC last July. I confirmed yesterday that our 2nd IUI failed and the witch got me a day early today. We have one more IUI attempt then it's IVF which we said we would not do (too expensive) or we are back to TTC naturally. I am very, very sad about all of this. I know how you feel. Hang in there.
