Hello All

I have a 4 year old son already. I have been TTC for one year for baby #2.

Reasons for not able to conceive

I have Amennorrhea - Absence of Menstrual cycle (since my delivery)
I have elevated FSH (15.1 on Day 3).
I am 30years old.


My RE almost said I have POF , and I never responded to Clomid (3 rounds). She recommended "injectibles" . But its so expensive, and I read in an acupuncture book that I definitely will not respond to that too. So I did not proceed with that.

Hence, I went in for infertility acupuncture, I did like 4 sessions (once a week). since the first session, I lost my sleep for the 3 to 4 nights followed by acupuncture session. after 5th night I slept..again on 6th day I went for acupuncture, and lost sleep. So I found the acupuncture wrecked my sleep schedule. I just could not live by sleeping just 1 night in a whole week !!
I also took herbs given my acupuncturist. He is well renowned , very senior doctor. So I assume and trust, he did not go wrong anywhere. according to his recommendation, I discontinued the acupuncture now.

now that I missed 2 cycles (not pregnant). I don't want to be induced by provera again to get my period.

I have been taking vitex thinking it will regulate my cycles.

So acupuncture does not suit me. I don't want to go back to my RE.

Is there anyway I can work with bringing down my FSH, and regulate my cycle and get pregnant? I conceived with absolutely no issues first time, and back then my cycles were so prompt too.

P/S. Since 4 weeks, I have been doing infertility Yoga following a DVD programme, and eating good healthy,organic,nutritious diet after reading 2 books , "making babies", and "infertility cure". They were so insightful and enlightening.

It sounds like you are on the right track! Congratulations for making some wonderful first steps. There are two amazing books by Julia Indichova called Inconceivable and The Fertile Female.
